Mr. Merino´s career in hospitality started nearly 20 years ago when he interned in communications and operations for Disney. Since then, he´s worked in numerous lodging, food, and beverage establishments and found his passion for the hotel business when overseeing operations and development of concept for the opening of the Grand Lodge and Water Park of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For the past few years, Luca has overseen the opening of over 7 new hotels nationwide. His latest tenure was with Radisson Hotel Group, serving as Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager responsible for opening the first 2 flagship properties of the new RED brand in America. Luca is eager to continue his efforts in streamlining the hospitality industry, adapting to everyday challenges and changes utilizing today's CRM and RMS technology to efficiently manage properties. Creating a culture where investing in individuals' talents and potential is a priority. As VP of Hotels & Operations for Reliance Point Hospitality Management, Mr. Merinos' focus is on growing the portfolio of hotels with a keen eye for delivering memorable experiences for both guests and employees.
